Prohibited Content and Removal Policy
Last reviewed: September 14, 2026
This Policy is made by Bossa Companion (“Bossa Companion”, “we”, “our”, “us”) and lists the categories of content whose generation, submission or sharing is prohibited on the Platform, together with the notice-and-takedown procedure, under the Brazilian Internet Civil Framework (Law No. 12,965/2014) and Art. 29 of Law No. 15,211/2025.
1. Strictly prohibited content
Automatically blocked and reported to the competent authorities:
- Material involving children or adolescents in any sexual, sensual, violent or exploitative context, including synthetic, animated, drawn, written or AI-generated material;
- Content featuring real people without consent (deepfake, impersonation, revenge porn);
- Content promoting real violence, terrorism or extremism;
- Content inciting racial, religious, ethnic or gender hatred;
- Instructions for making weapons, explosives, drugs or poisons;
- Bestiality, necrophilia, incest and other criminalised paraphilias;
- Material infringing trade, industrial or national security secrets;
- Personal data of third parties disclosed without a legal basis.
2. Restricted content (age verification required)
Requires completed age verification by a specialist provider:
- Erotic dialogue with AI Companions;
- Generation of sensual or nude images of AI Companions;
- Adult roleplay between fictional consenting adults.
3. Content prohibited by conduct
- Harassment, threats, defamation, slander or insult;
- Financial fraud, pyramid schemes, phishing;
- Spam, unsolicited advertising or unauthorised use of bots;
- Infringement of third-party copyright, trademarks or patents.
4. Moderation flow
All content passes through multiple layers of analysis before and after generation:
- Initial filtering, blocking obvious risk terms and patterns up front;
- Automated pre-generation classification, with categorical analysis and particular attention to content involving minors;
- Generation by AI models, performed only after approval in the previous layers;
- Apparent-age classification, an automated risk analysis;
- Human review in a specialised queue for cases flagged as suspicious.
5. Notice and takedown procedure
Victims, legal guardians, the Public Prosecutor's Office or advocacy bodies may request the removal of content that infringes rights, particularly those of children and adolescents, with no prior court order required.
5.1 How to report
If you have an Account on the Platform, the fastest route is the report button inside the app, available on every message and every image received in a conversation. The report is recorded immediately and sent to triage.
You can also report by email, including without an Account, to abuse@bossacompanion.com, providing:
- Identification of the reporting party (name, identity document, email and phone);
- A description of the content or conduct and the grounds for the infringement;
- URL, screenshots or identifiers that allow the material to be located;
- A statement that the information is true, under penalty of law.
5.2 Deadlines
- Initial review: within 48 business hours, with a reply to the reporting party;
- Cases involving minors: assessed within 24 business hours, with immediate preventive removal where the probability is high;
- Child sexual abuse material: prompt removal, preservation of evidence and notification to the competent authorities.
6. Appealing a removal
A User whose content has been removed has the right to challenge the decision. To that end, when we remove content we:
- Notify the User of the removal;
- State the reason and grounds for the removal, and whether the content was identified by human or automated analysis;
- Explain, in the notification itself, how to appeal.
6.1 Appeal deadlines
- To file: 15 calendar days from the removal notice, by message to abuse@bossacompanion.com. If the deadline passes with no response, the removal stands;
- For our reply: up to 10 business days from receipt of the appeal, with a reasoned decision. An upheld appeal restores the content;
- Exception: content involving a child or adolescent is not restored on appeal. The removal is final and the case goes to the authorities.
7. Accountability
False or abusive reports expose the reporting party to the applicable criminal and civil remedies.
8. Copyright (DMCA equivalent)
Copyright infringement notices must follow the same channel as item 5, with the elements set out in Law No. 9,610/1998 and identification of the work allegedly infringed.
